Waikahalulu Bay, Kaho'olawe, Is one of two large bays on the south side of the Kaho'olawe. It is noted for its high seacliffs and the roar of the surf as it pummels the cliffs. Waikahalulu Bay gets its name from the roaring of the surf in fact.

This deep bay is a traditional fishing area for the people on Kaho'olawe. The tides that frequent this area bring nutrient rich sea life, and the larger fish take advantage of this phenomena.

Only small rock beaches exist in the larger Waikahalulu Bay area. The surf here can be treacherous and so we recommend extreme caution.
