Kealoha Beach Park is located midway down Kalanianole Avenue directly across from Kionakapahu Pond. This area is a lush palmed area, that hosts several Beach Parks in very close proximity. Kealoha Beach Park is wonderful reserve, that incorporates several easy access points into the sea. Swimming and snorkeling are prime here, and water clarity can be very good directly adjacent to the shore, and near reef stretches. A strong tidal surge affects the outer reef here, and this flush of clear sea water also infuses tropical fish and sea life in abundance.

Kealoha Beach Park also hosts a very good facilities area, complete with showers, bathrooms, and picnic facilities. Kealoha Beach Park also shares some common elements in connection to Carlsmith Beach Park, and in fact the Life Guard stations are located in those sectors. The bad news is that the distance between Kealoha Beach Park and Carlsmith Beach Park really nullifies the ability of Life Guard to respond even if they could see an incident. Be safe if you are not a great swimmer and swim over on the Carlsmith side, but if you are a good swimmer you will want to also visit the unique reefs and Islets within the park.

Kealoha Beach Park has it's own Island

Kealoha Beach Park possesses another unique feature that is a must visit if you swim here. Located about 125 feet off shore, is a small island (Islet) - complete with trees for shade, and its own unique seaward facing expanse that allows you a view to sit out there and enjoy the privacy and perspective of being alone on an Island all by yourself - or with someone you love. Its fun and and easy swim, and is an experience you may not want to miss.
